Here I am going to be doing a much shorter and summarised review due to the album having been released a couple of months ago, but still wanting to shed some light on things. So the new Sigh album is as I would have expected, strange. We are given just under 1 hour of combining Black Metal with avant-garde, folk and sampling blended to create a disturbing yet tranquillising utopia of extremity and progression alike. I think this album is a perfect culmination of a band who have honed their art into something unique yet familiar to fans. The gorgeous yet unnerving result was an unforgettable experience and should certainly be listened to by the more open minded Extreme Metal fans. The album is incredibly diverse and ambitious without any feeling of it being obnoxious or forced. An incredible and wondrous release. Final score: -8/10
