DEMO REVIEW: Necromaniac – Promo MMXXIV

NECROMANIAC have given the underground a scorching demo and 7″ of true morbid Death Metal. Now they return with a demo, featuring three songs from the upcoming debut album.

Necrotising guitars feedback into a seething cacophony of unpleasantness as ruthless drumming fires on all cylinders. The profane and combustible sounds of true morbid ecstasy fill their air with a remorseless and unforgiving metallic din. Thrashing melodies and abyssal bass lines crack the heavens with their blasphemous warfare. Instrumentally there is nothing short of total darkness. Thankfully the vocals keep that gruesomeness intact, feverishly spewing incantations upon the hellish riff and drum fury. The raw and merciless music is produced in equally hostile fashion, giving a rough live mix to truly decimate any poser skulls who might have accidentally found this underground gem. Well, after the destruction of such weaklings, we get back to the music.

Hell-hammering grooves and restless cymbal work intertwines unholy synths and booming low end to bewitch us with their blackened flame. Barbarically persecuting all in their path, Necromaniac blend frenzied death-thrashing savagery with blackened unearthliness to conjure a maelstrom of true extremity as violently crushing as it is packed with a sepulchral atmospheric stench. Within these three primitive pieces there is dynamics aplenty, fantastic musicianship and an overall untempered yet skilful and concise, coherent execution. Sadistic as it may be, their pursuit of darkness is one of magnificent quality. Each part of this demo is a valuable addition that teases at the true splendour the record will hold in its full length glory. Until then, enjoy this bestial addition while you can…
