Romanian Speed Metal maniacs LEATHER BRIGADE offer their debut EP via Vicious Witch Records.
Firing into an assault of d-beats and sleazy riffs, the whiplash fury of metallic rage starts on overdrive with vicious vocals blasting through the mix. Immediately reminiscent of the likes of Bewitcher, Hellripper, Wraith and so on, all the Black-Speed Metal Punks are gonna love this record, there is no denying it. From the off we hear savage and aggressive music pelted forth with all of the attitude and grit that one could hope for. From obliterating speeds to mosh-fuelling stomps, this short dose of degeneracy has got some real potential that hits hard, fast and with lethal force.
Naturally with the style, it is fairly consistent in pacing and tone, but that works fine as at just over 15 minutes, it is not overplayed. In fact, there is more range than you would expect from such a short EP which plays to the bands strengths, always firing on all cylinders. Each of the five tracks has an anthemic and energetic delivery and the band has already played some pretty cool shows (such as Romania’s Old Grave fest). The Speed Metal wheel is turning at 666rpm and Leather Brigade have broken loose. This first strike on the iron sends red hot sparks flying, hopefully a sign of great things to come.
These Romanian youngsters storm onto the scene with a strong debut that will leave you salivating for more mayhem. Don’t miss this cut of carnage, out now on Vicious Witch Records. If you need to bang your head, pump your fists and go wild, then here is a brand new soundtrack to annihilation! Show these rabid fiends some support and bang or be banged!

But we’ve also been quite fortunate. And we really do appreciate that, you know. People like Ethan and the previous touring party have always been incredibly encouraging and grateful. And all I can say is thank you.
