Blackened Death-Thrash maniacs TEMPTER’s SACRAMENT are back to follow their demo with an EP! Set for release via Invictus Productions on October 1st.
Firing in with a maniacal array of riffs and dive-bomb soloing with cutting drums, the immediately venomous onslaught of pure Extreme Metal violence is captivating from the off. Taking us back in time to that glorious moments when Black, Death and Thrash Metal were not necessarily separated, this is in that vein of barbarity that obeys no trend, offering primal speeding savagery for true die-hards only. Enchanting with its morbid energy that seeps from every obnoxiously feisty sound, Tempter’s Sacrament have a razor-sharp sound that centres around devastating riffs and unrelenting drum battery with a snarling vocal performance that certainly does not dull the blade of pure Heavy Metal. More solos add a noisy lead side to the rhythmic carnage that suits the brutality to perfection, with no need for pleasantness, just total armageddon. Between the 3 original pieces, we hear nothing short of sadistically executed hellfire in the most demonic style, taking a little Sodom, some Vulcano and some Vomitor and giving us a totally refreshed and violent listen of profoundly obliterating destruction. To follow this trio of triumphant tracks, the EP culminates in a cover of Death Metal gods Morbid Angel. A staunch and fanatical cover that in unquestionably passionate in their primitive and chaotic delivery, ending the EP on an ecstatic high.
This EP showcases exactly what the spirit of truly maniacal metalheads doing things the old school way without stealing identity from any specific band. A storm of unencumbered, unapologetic and ripping madness that does not cease in its short running time.
