GIG REVIEW: Blasphemy @ The Dome (30th November 2019)

War Metal legends BLASPHEMY bring devastation to London with support from VULCANO and ADORIOR, presented by Isengard Promotions.

Adorior opened the night with one of those commanding and dominating Extreme Metal performances I have witnessed to date. Having reformed, the band waste no time reminding people they demand respect with their riveting brand of total decimation and do so with a blinding set that opens the night gloriously.

Brazilian legends Vulcano follow up playing plenty of classic material and showing why 80s Extreme Metal is not easy to rival. Classic tracks such as “Bloody Vengeance” get a warm response from a crowd of maniacs who are ready for total destruction and Vulcano deliver.

Finally Blasphemy take to the stage, these War Metal pioneers need no introduction and drive out a hammering performance of pure evil aggression. The sonic onslaught of primal riffs, blasting drums and snarling vocals lay waste to all and show why these guys are the kings of their sound. Such obliteration and chaos was met with craziness in the crowd while the band effortlessly delivered a stellar performance and took no prisoners. This was the show to be at for lovers of violence and Heavy Metal at its heaviest.
